Afghani in Paris

The worst experience ....very bad service. I was pregnant craving for Afghan food. I drove from la defance to get there and had ordered Qabili which is Afghan traditional dish of rice cooked in lam broth with carrots but i was sreved a bit of rice with a piece of meet and kidney beans, as an Afghan i was thinking what??? When i questioned the dish, I was insulated and basically i was told not to speak in presence of men...I was thinking again what??? On the positive note the experience put me off Afghan food for the rest of my pregnancy☺

Comfort food at its finest. Excellent meal.Cauliflower and eggplant starters were on point, cheese bread wasn't necessarily authentic but hit the spot, and the main of lamb had rich flavours and just enough heat.Knocking off a star because the lamb was a little tougher than it should be, and the house red wine wasn't very good.Definitely going back.

Why is Afghani cuisine not more popular?? The food is amazing---especially at this restaurant. Beautiful, cohesive flavors and elegant presentation all for an affordable price. Very close to Montmartre. We got there for early lunch on Sunday (the only day it is served) and was luckily the first one sat. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly. We got the vegetarian dumplings (ashak?) and a lamb dish. Both were delicious, but the vegetarian dish is one I won't forget anytime soon--delicate, tender dough wrapped around a savory leek filling and served in an amazing vegetable soup/stew. Each bite was heaven. Best thing I ate in Paris.

Still my favourite restaurant in Paris after 17 years of frequenting it. A must for any visit!

Super restaurant! The food is great and cheap and it's in a cosy atmosphere (local deco). There are tables for big groups (a big table for 16 or 20 at level -1) and options for vegetarians. I go there all the time.

Food is nice but dont expect the real spicy meaty nightmarishly abundant afghani traits

Very small restaurant in Montmartre ... It has existed for over 20 years! 😃.It's really tiny, but we like to come and discover their Afghan dishes ... The prices are reasonable and the dishes are sufficient, with either a starter and a main course or a main course and a dessert you will be satisfied ...It is quite original as a kitchen, for those who do not know ... Test ...

Consistently good after several visits with friends. Tasty food, comfortable seats and Afghan decor, efficient, smiling service. Vegetarian-friendly. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious the host was very friendly and could also speak hindi . The food was very tasty , they have very less options for for vegi but for non vegi the food was delicious . The ambience was typical afgan and had the feel of local afgan food . I will recommend this place to all non veg local I will recommend this place

My partner is Afghan and rates the food very highly - very authentic afghani food, fresh ingredients, the meat is of very good quality, plenty of options for vegetarians. The restaurant is run by a very friendly and welcoming Afghan gentleman. Make sure you book ahead because it gets very busy!

Very different and interesting tasty food. Service was pleasant if a bit slow, but worth the small wait.

Great welcome, the food was great, the green tea eating great! At 2, entrees desserts and nan cheese with teas for 50 €. I recommend ++

Saw the good reviews and decided to try it out. Traditional afghan food that tastes great and nice setting. Try the Borani (eggplant)

It's really Nice and traditional restaurant there is à lot of items decorated the place such as afghani wearings customs and musical instrements and photo of Fghanistan it's really super greate for couples friends or small group
